Stamping Press Automation Systems

Stamping is a method of forming (plastic processing) by pressurizing materials with dies. A stamping press automation system uses a combination of pressurizing machines and peripheral equipment.

The stamping press method is suited to mass production due to its ability to produce instantaneously and continuously through high-pressure forming with a stamping press. This ability has led to it being widely used to make products indispensable to our daily lives, such as televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and other home appliances; computers, smartphones, and other information terminals; as well as motorcycles and automobiles.
The AMADA Group was one of the first to develop a digital electric servo-drive stamping press that numerically controls the movement of the press slide. By using various slide motions to press products that were difficult to process with conventional mechanical presses, our digital electric servo-drive stamping presses help reduce the number of processes and enable forming with high added value. They additionally offer high quality and energy-saving performance compared to conventional machines, contributing to eco-friendly and high-efficiency manufacturing.
In addition, our machines promote stamping press processing efficiency by combining and systematizing press machines and their peripheral equipment according to the application.
Furthermore, they advance the digital transformation of factories, including the digital networking of presses.
