AMADA TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER (ATEC)
AMADA TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER (ATEC) is a comprehensive training facility designed to be “a place to educate the next generation of engineers capable of envisioning the future of customer factories.”
A place to educate the next generation of engineers capable of envisioning the future of customer factories
Under the AMADA Group’s basic policy to “develop human resources who pursue creative and challenging activities,” we aim to develop human resources who can constantly brainstorm better ways of doing things without remaining content with the status quo.
Based on this idea, the ATEC was opened in September 2024. This is a comprehensive training facility equipped with an area for learning manufacturing technology as well as a simulator room for learning basic technologies such as numerical control (NC) and pneumatic pressure, in addition to hands-on training on all system machines, from old to new. The facility is also connected with overseas regions.
Cultivating next-generation engineers
The AMADA Group will further enhance its technology-driven approach to solve increasingly sophisticated and diverse customer issues. To practice next-generation engineering, which is the foundation of this approach, we focus on training engineers who can handle automation systems and robots, as well as training digital transformation (DX) engineers.
Training engineers for automation and robots
In addition to practical training with line machines and robot machines, we also provide education on fundamental concepts and older models in the simulator room to cultivate high-quality engineers capable of meeting market needs.
Cultivating DX engineers capable of solving customer issues
In a virtual factory reproduced in a production engineering simulation room, engineers are provided with training on how to make proposals to solve customer issues. With this, we aim to develop next-generation engineers armed with comprehensive capabilities.
Sustainable Education System
We strive to maintain and improve motivation through step-by-step education according to career stage, including new hires, engineers, experts, and masters. We are also working to pass on skills and expertise by establishing a corporate cycle in which senior workers pass on their skills to younger workers.
Training is also provided for outsourced services in our work to improve quality.
