Outlook

The global economic outlook remains subject to close monitoring, driven by geopolitical risks such as the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, as well as the risk of resurging inflation caused by rising energy prices.
Under these environmental conditions, in the manufacturing industry to which the Group belongs, investment in labor-saving and automation aimed at addressing chronic labor shortages, along with energy-efficiency initiatives for a decarbonized society, are expected to remain solid as medium- to long-term trends. Furthermore, strong demand is projected to continue, backed by the expansion of AI- and semiconductor-related investments, particularly in the United States. Against this backdrop, the Group will continuously capture demand driven by data centers, mainly in the United States, while reliably addressing the needs for productivity enhancement among domestic and overseas manufacturers. Furthermore, as H&F Corporation and Via Mechanics, Ltd., which became consolidated subsidiaries in the previous fiscal year, will contribute to full-year business results, we plan for full-year consolidated net sales, operating profit, and profit attributable to owners of parent to exceed the previous fiscal year's levels, aiming to maintain performance at a high level.
