In February 2023, we opened the AMADA GLOBAL INNOVATION CENTER (AGIC) within our head office in Isehara City, Kanagawa. As a “place for co-creating the future of metalworking,” this center helps to resolve issues at our customers’ manufacturing sites. With our brand message of “FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES with AMADA,” we are consistently pursuing transformation and challenge.

2020: Acquired Finnish automation systems manufacturer LKI Käldman, and established AMADA AUTOMATION EUROPE LTD.
Reorganized as a production base for peripheral equipment for sheet metal fabrication machines; Opened the Carolina Technical Center in North Carolina, United States
2022: Announced Long-term Vision 2030; AMADA WELD TECH INC. developed micro machining system
Announced the Delta series laser welding system; Opened the third band saw blade plant in Lianyungang, China; AMADA MIYACHI CO., LTD. changed its name to AMADA WELD TECH CO., LTD. (now AMADA’s Micro Welding Section)
2023: Announced Medium-term Business Plan 2025; Opened the AMADA GLOBAL INNOVATION CENTER (AGIC); Developed the AMNC 4ie, a new NC unit for social and environmental issues
Launched sales of sheet metal fabrication machines equipped with AMNC 4ie; Developed DX solutions
Announced the LIVLOTS, a new DX solution for manufacturing; Developed autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)
Announced the AMTES process linking solution; Developed a three-dimensional fabrication system using blue lasers
Announced the ALCIS-1008e 3D laser integration system
2024: Acquired AMADA WELD TECH CO., LTD. (now AMADA’s Micro Welding Section) to strengthen the laser welding business; Opening of the “Welding Technical Center” in Italy; Opened the AMADA Technical Education Center (ATEC) to strengthen engineering capabilities
2025: Acquired H&F Corporation, comprehensive stamping press manufacture
