We sincerely appreciate receiving the honorable The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun Award on our work piece of “Francis turbine (hydro turbine)”. We are all pleased with a high assessment twice in a row from last year and get big confidence.

The work piece is originated from an idea of added some function on the base of turbine structure. The whole design drawing is created by 3D CAD then, checking the collision of rotation part followed by unfolding and sheet metal processing.

There are delicate errors between the unfold data and actual parts, where fine correction is in need many times. Thus, the connecting part finally joins with many try and errors.

The work is carried out manually with decent time consuming since the importance of uniform bending of turbine blade and welding of arrangement position to keep the balance of rotation part. The in-house equipment is fully utilized like laser welding for keeping distortion as minimum as possible. The work piece contains a lot of R bending parts therefore, it is a very useful opportunity and experience for us to obtain the know-how of R bending for future business.

We shall strive for further technical advancement and development to cope with market needs through a new idea created by sheet metal technology.
