We would like to express our appreciation for this honorable “Health, Labor and Welfare Minister Award” for our “Pyramid”. Everyone at our company is delighted.

We participate in this Fair every year, and we received a Gold Award in the “Sheet metal parts” category at the previous Fair. This year we aimed for a higher goal by creating a piece that can utilize the skills we have accumulated through our daily work to the fullest.

The challenge during the blanking process was the laser cutting path. We needed to make approximately 200 slits with 5.0mm intervals, so we came up with a plan for the cutting path and increased the connections. For the bending process, since all sides of the 820mm x 815mm blank material overlap each other at the top of the pyramid, we obviously needed size and angle accuracy, but the bend order and the tools needed some creative ideas. There were around 250 bends, and although we sometimes wanted to give up, we patiently kept bending, and when all the bends were completed, it took our exhaustion away.

Finally, we would like to hone our inspiration and imagination while trying to create advanced products, and make contributions to society.
