We noticed that we would be able to make 3D free curves without a welding process, which was difficult in conventional sheet metal working, by using a combination of sheet materials. This triggered us to make this product having a unique shape. As a result, we succeeded in making a product with high accuracy and high strength as we first intended.
We think that we received high scores for having formed the product shape by sheet metal working instead of grinding, which was a traditional approach, and achieving high accuracy and high strength. We are confident that we would be able to open up new manufacturing possibilities by utilizing this idea in our future designs.
We are greatly honored to receive this wonderful award. I passed it along to all of my employees and shared the joy with them. We will display the glorious plaque and diploma that we received, at our company.
How should Japan deal with the growing new Asian power in terms of technologies in future? We will always look toward the future of manufacturing. Especially in this time that Japan has been battered throughout the country, we will keep on incorporating dreams and desires in our future visions and preserve the Japanese manufacturing. |
