Strengths
This PCB mounting bracket for medical devices achieves full bending automation on the EG-6013AR robotic cell, executing all 29 bending steps across 3 tool setups. Previously, multi-step bending required human operators after the initial robotic setup. To minimize labor in mass production, we fully automated the process. By optimizing tool layout and bending sequence, we preserved critical robot gripping points while managing highly flexible 0.8 mm sheet metal. Strategic loading and comb-rack staging enable continuous mass production. Over 3 days of programming and fine-tuned regripping routines yielded a high-value dataset delivering exceptional angular and dimensional precision.
