Strengths

Hearing that our vocational school had never previously entered a painted piece into the Precision Sheet Metal Technology Fair, we set out to create a fully painted finish. Working together, our entire class engaged in rigorous trial and error to craft a mouth-watering visual replica of salmon roe gunkan sushi. This project serves as a showcase combining all the sheet metal techniques and skills acquired over our year-and-a-half training program.

  • Most important points: いくらパーツの大きさや形、色にこだわった

  • Most difficult points: お米パーツの見せ方に苦労した。海苔パーツの中に埋まっていると見えなくなってしまうが、お米パーツがあるということを見せたかったため、海苔パーツの上に乗せる構造とした。

  • What I noticed when actually processed it from the drawing: いくらパーツを手作業で折り曲げるには微調整が難しかった。
