Strengths

“Fer l'infini et au-delà” (Iron Infinity and Beyond) is a metal sculpture created
by a group of students training for a CAP (vocational training certificate) in metalworking at the Lycée Augustin Hébert in Évreux.
This collective project combines technical expertise and artistic ambition, proving that
the rigor of the workshop can give rise to a work imbued with poetry.
At the heart of this work is a portion of a celestial sphere depicting the starry sky
and its sparkling, luminous constellations, like a map of the cosmos
engraved on metal.
A mechanical fist pierces the upper part of this sphere,
symbolizing both the human and industrial revolutions and the conquest
of space.
