Strengths

Design began from a customer concept sketch. While initial prototypes used a welded structure, we shifted to a riveted assembly to meet cost targets and scale for higher production volume. To further reduce rivet counts, alignment embosses (dowels) were added to the lower front to keep the bottom sheet from shifting downward, while the unfastened upper sides integrate interlocking tabs to prevent inward deflection. This engineering optimization enabled mass production of 3,000 units monthly while satisfying target unit costs.
