1. Complete Reproduction of Origami Structure: While origami-inspired works appear often at this fair, most alter part shapes just to mimic the appearance. This work achieves nearly the exact same structure as origami, requiring 10 iterations of adjustments to reproduce. 2. Dimensional Accuracy: Assembled without welding by interlocking 12 identically shaped parts. To avoid interference at insertion and overlapping areas, flat patterns were adjusted for each section. Dimensional accuracy is ensured by integrating bending guide sections into insertion parts. Using thin-sheet hemming dies (R0.2, V2.5), overall dimensional accuracy is ±0.1 mm. 3. Display Stand: Made from a single sheet of 1.5 mm thick SUS304. The cradle was initially made as a separate part, but to achieve a clean appearance, it was integrated into one piece using minimal hemming bends.
