Designed in SolidWorks and programmed in Radan, these commercial vehicle rear light guards were manufactured on a high-speed EM punch machine. Upgrading from an older PEGA punch and LVD CO2 laser to the EM punch significantly reduced production cycle times. We utilized specialized tooling directly on the EM punch to form our company logo, eliminating secondary branding steps. For bending, DXF Import mode on the HFE 3i pressbrake generated 3D component views to guide operators through folding. High punching accuracy ensured all parts folded precisely as designed, guaranteeing perfect fit-up during assembly without rework. Components were individually painted before final nut-and-bolt assembly, yielding a high-quality, efficient, and repeatable process.
