Strengths

This assembly is well known among motorcycle enthusiasts and is manufactured as an OEM product for BMW, among others. It is the buckle of a motorcycle case as used on the BMW GS1200. It is a very well-designed and sophisticated part consisting only of sheet metal parts, rivets, and a spring, and is installed as such. A very attractive assembly that has been in active use for years.
