The manager of Amada Company courteously handed over the request for participation in the award receiving ceremony to me and curious hope crossed my mind.

We would sincerely appreciate on our work piece "My bending" to be selected for the newly introduced honorable The Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity President's Award.

The work piece of this year is simple but tough although we have been participating every year. The 21 pieces of sheet metal box fall down gradually by gravitation then returns silently.

The bending measurement and angle varies because of rolling direction of sheet metal therefore, every measurement and angle tuning were the hard work after all.

We found that the movement by gravitation occurred at the gap of 0.02mm and were pleased deeply with completion by 21 pieces as producer, the birth of "my bending".

We have been consecutively participating in the Fair organized by Amada School and would like to keep participating with considering either manufacturing for targeting the award or manufacturing arose from development of processing technology in the daily work, which is our aim from the next year.
