Amada Foundation for Metal Work Technology

The foundation was established in 1987 by Isamu Amada, the founder of AMADA. The objective of the foundation is "to contribute to the healthy development of the industry and economy of our country by improving technology related to fabrication machinery for plasticity materials such as sheet metal." The foundation's two major business activities are "international exchange" and "fostering research & development" of technologies that are necessary for plasticity fabrication such as sheet metal. The foundation tirelessly raises grants each year.
